SUCCESSES & Stumbles of our work
In 2022, we worked tirelessly on remarkable projects, side by side with extraordinary people, and were rewarded with impressive awards. But we have also made mistakes and are not shy of new challenges. We embrace these obstacles and acknowledge our shortcomings, which fuels our continued growth and improvement.
The facts speak for themselves.

Photographer Desire van den Berg and multi-talent Jill Mathon made a fantastic contribution to the book indifferent. With their new and diverse alphabet they provide a more inclusive reflection of the Netherlands.
Tech wizard Ievgen Gorovyi
For the Pardigm app we worked together with a Ukrainian computer vision specialist. The collaboration with Ievgen and his team was inspiring and very erratic due to the war his country is suffering from.

problems
(not yet) solved
Measuring is knowing
Quite a bit of waste is produced in our studio. We have set ourselves a goal to reduce our mountain of waste. But how do you know if you are doing the right thing if you don't measure it? We have now started weighing our waste, so that we know whether we are doing the right thing.
Online shame
Did you know that CO2 emissions from the (use of) internet are as high as the aviation industry? Our work largely takes place online. And we have a website. Using digitalbeacon.co we checked the CO2 emissions of our website. We were shocked.... "Overall this web page is rated as bad when it comes to its carbon footprint". In 2023 we started to drastically reduce our emissions from the website.
Mindfuck for more impact
We want to make the world more sustainable and social. To achieve that, we need to change people's behavior. We have to get into their heads. That's not easy. We notice that our work does not always have (enough) impact to really get people moving. That is why we followed the behavioral design training with Sue. From now on, we combine our acquired knowledge of behavioral sciences and creativity to change the behavior of our target group.
Green or gray hosting?
The websites that are online through our studio are hosted by an eco-friendly provider. But, we also work with online web development systems. We do not know whether these systems use green hosting. We have started a study to gain insight and improve it.
DPI web developers
Better to be a good neighbor.... We enlisted the help of developers next door for the Cool Up online platform. The technicians of DPI came up with innovative techniques to turn it into a dynamic online experience.
Isa Lebbink
Since the early years of our studio, interns have been coming and going. Due to corona we had to temporarily stop this. With the arrival of Isa in 2022, we were fortunately able to end our internship-free period.
North wind
The team of North wind consists of specialists in the field of complex sustainable transitions. Together we worked on 'the municipal trip' for the Natural Gas Free Neighborhoods Program.
Martians are working on a livable planet
We can't tell you much about it yet... it's still top secret! In 2022 we worked with a new start-up that will shake up the financial sector and contribute to a livable planet.
